On Saturday, we hosted our second Habitat U Youth Summit to empower a group of local teens ages 14-19 to learn about financial literacy and community engagement.

At the event, 67 high school students learned about the positive impact they can have on their communities through interactive sessions and real-world examples, while also learning the basics of budgeting, saving and credit to lay the foundation for successful financial futures.

We are so honored to partner with Orange County Government and Cities for Financial Empowerment Fund to provide free one-on-one financial counseling to local residents starting in 2025! The Orange County Financial Empowerment Center, the first of its kind in Florida, will foster long-term financial stability within our community.

If you're looking to level up your volunteering this fall, we have just the role for you! Our crew leaders are special volunteers who come out to our build sites regularly to guide less-experienced volunteers. It’s a modest monthly commitment, and you’ll receive training.

A year ago, Habitat for Humanity Greater Orlando & Osceola County launched a multifaceted project as a catalyst for collective action addressing the housing crisis in Central Florida. The first year focused on establishing shared understanding.
