9/11 Program: Alumni to Speak

A ’92 IUP graduate whose family property was next to the Flight 93 crash site and a ’16 graduate who received a scholarship that honors an IUP alumnus lost in the World Trade Center attacks will be among the speakers at the university’s 9/11 remembrance ceremony Friday, September 10, at 11:40 a.m. in the Oak Grove (also livestreamed). This community music education program for children ages 5 to 18 is offering private lessons—in person or online—in violin, viola, cello, and bass. Applications are due today for the fall semester.
The Kathleen Jones White Writing Center offers tutoring now through the end of Finals Week in 218 Eicher Hall, on Stapleton Library’s first floor, and online. Services are available Sundays through Fridays.
Register by Friday for the Kathleen Jones White Writing Center’s Graduate Writing Groups—for students at any stage of their thesis or dissertation. Held every two weeks via Zoom, the meetings help writers stay on track and positive.
