Now Hear This: Acoustical Engineering Improves Daily Life!
Register Now for Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day!
For our 16th annual Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day, Nitsch Engineering is excited to talk about Acoustical Engineering! We’re partnering with Acentech to teach girls how sound works, and how it can be amplified, dampened, or altered using engineering techniques.
When: Friday, April 21st, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM
(Please note that this is the Friday of school vacation week in Massachusetts.)
Who: Girls from 6th to 12th grade.
Adult chaperones are welcome to accompany each girl.
Attendance is limited, and the event fills up quickly every year, so please register as soon as you know you can make it!
Please note that this year's registration process is more in-depth than in past years, as we improve our ability to safely coordinate the growing number of girls who attend! To attend, please follow these steps:
  1. Click here to register via our online system. Please complete this step first, as this system is how we manage the event capacity.
  2. Click here to download our new registration form. Separate forms must be completed for each girl attendee by their parent/guardian.
  3. Send the completed form(s), along with a photo of the girl attendee(s), back to aluciano@nitscheng.com, by Friday, April 14th.
Due to the popularity of this event and the fact that we sell out every year, we have limited group registrations to a maximum of six girls.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Anna Luciano at aluciano@nitscheng.com.
We hope to see you on April 21st!
