Join an Equity Week panel discussion on April 8, 1 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. to get informed on important topics related to the upcoming Maryland primary election. You know it is your civic duty to vote, but how will you get ready? Come to this session to learn about available voting guides that help you learn about the candidates running for office, why it's important to affiliate with a party in order to vote in the primary elections, and the three ways you can vote in Maryland. The Robert L. Giron Global Humanities Lecture Series presents poet Charity Blackwell. She is a spoken word artist, host, emcee, and poetry specialist who has spent several years contributing to the arts scene in DC and across national platforms.
