JumpStart Job Fair

The Senior Hiring Event has gotten a makeover! For 2020, in conjunction with Rutherford County Schools, the high school focused hiring fair will feature work-based learning opportunities for juniors in addition to full-time, part-time, seasonal, and internship experiences for graduating seniors.

Combined with the move to TCAT Smyrna and a new downloadable app, Career Fair +, for student registration, we're sure this will be an appealing update to Rutherford County high school students.

Mark your calendars for Tuesday, April 7 at 8:30 a.m. and be on the lookout for the employer registration link!

TCAT Job Fair Invite

The American Job Center-Murfreesboro and Tennessee College of Applied Technology-Murfreesboro/Smyrna invite you to join them for a hiring event at TCAT Smyrna. Students from both TCAT campuses along with job seekers from around the county will attend. Employers interested in attending are encouraged to contact Jeff Glidden or Joseph Ferguson to register.

Amazing Shake

Night of Networking

Join Rutherford Works for an extra special night of networking during The Amazing Shake on Wednesday, January 22 at 4:30 p.m.

During this event, you'll mingle with other industry professionals along with students from both Murfreesboro City and Rutherford County school districts. Students will engage in conversation, display a good handshake, practice soft skills and showcase their ability to "work a room" as they compete in the last challenge of the 2020 Amazing Shake Competition.
