Pitches for Prizes

Undergraduate and graduate students got the chance to pitch their startup ideas to local venture capitalists and business leaders at the Hurricane Pitch Competition. The “Shark Tank-style” event awarded $25,000 in prize money to the brightest ideas. 

A Game-Changing Gift

The UTulsa School of Law has received a $1 million gift from the Cresap Family Foundation. This will establish the Endowed Professorship in Complex Transactional Law to prepare students for mergers, acquisitions and commercial real estate. 

Headway in Health Care 

The University of Tulsa launched the integrative healthcare studies major this fall. The new, experiential learning curriculum prepares students for any potential career in health care by exposing them to natural, clinical and social sciences. 

King of Theatre

The TU Theatre Union, an organization created by students, for students, recently closed their second show, “Oedipus The King." The production, which featured students from a variety of majors, brought in a full house on opening night.
