A HISTORIC MOMENT FOR ISRAEL

| The Jewish Federation of Greater Washington and The Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC) of Greater Washington join Jewish communities around the world in welcoming today’s historic signing of a peace accord between Israel, the United Arab Emirates, and Bahrain. The two Arab countries finalized the normalization of relations and establishment of full diplomatic relations with Israel at a White House ceremony.

This year, Bender JCC of Greater Washington is bringing the holidays into your home. Celebrate the Jewish New Year virtually with your little ones with early childhood music specialist Lisa Baydush for a 45-minute kid-friendly, music-filled Rosh Hashanah morning. Military Mitzvah Card Project
Join PJ Library and The Jewish Federation of Greater Washington for an opportunity to send High Holiday cards to Jewish military—Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and Coast Guard—stationed in Anchorage, Alaska! Cards can be store-bought or homemade, and will be distributed by the chaplain stationed at the base. But hurry! Cards need to be mailed by September 16.
