Lee Morrissey (left), Alumni Distinguished Professor in the Department of English, was awarded the James Holly Hanford Book Award by The Milton Society of America for his new book, "Milton’s Ireland: Royalism, Republicanism and the Question of Pluralism."

Merle Wellmann, a Ph.D. student from Germany’s Leibniz University Hannover, is visiting Clemson as a Fulbright Scholar for the spring semester. Her work, housed in the new Advanced Materials Innovation Complex (AMIC), focuses on advanced ceramics that could improve the performance of next-generation energy technologies.

ELEVATE WELL-BEING

In the latest Elevate Well-Being blog, Anna Fitch Courie discusses the launch of
Clemson’s first-ever Health and Well-Being Needs Assessment. She also highlights its importance in fostering institutional well-being across the campus community and what it means for the University moving forward. The survey is open through Sunday, March 29, for faculty, staff and students.

The Focus on Creative Inquiry (FoCI) poster forum, scheduled for April 8-10, is seeking judges for the poster competition. Any faculty, staff or graduate student can volunteer to judge. Those interested in participating can complete the sign-up form.

The Tiger Tech Shop is your one-stop shop for everything tech at Clemson. Open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 110 Hendrix Student Center, they offer laptops, tablets, accessories, warranties and hardware repair. Faculty and staff can purchase select items using payroll deduction.
