Book a Timed-Entry Ticket

Museum visitor numbers are now limited. Advanced, timed tickets are available online. Walk-in visitors will be accepted but may be asked to wait if the museum is at capacity. All visitors are encouraged to book an admission ticket with a specific entry time. Please allow at least 60 minutes for your visit to the museum.
As part of UBC’s commitment to the health and safety of our community, and the responsibility we all share in preventing the potential for COVID-19, students, faculty, staff and visitors are required to follow UBC’s COVID-19 Campus Rules when on campus. These rules include the requirement to wear non-medical masks in common indoor spaces. Read all procedures for a safe visit here
The Beaty Biodiversity Museum is 10!

In 2020 the Beaty Biodiversity Museum celebrates its 10th year of being open to the public!

Watch our 10th-Anniversary video - our message from the Beaty Biodiversity Museum team, our Director Dr. Quentin Cronk, and Dr. Santa J. Ono, UBC's President and Vice-Chancellor, celebrating our first 10 years open to the public. Here's to many more!
Join us ONLINE the first Sunday of the month at 10:30 am for biodiversity activities for children ages 5 – 12 years old accompanied by their families. Our museum educators, along with special guests from the Pacific Museum of Earth and UBC will explore a variety of topics. Advance registration is required for both online and in-person visits. Families are welcome to visit us during Nature Club weekends to explore the collections at their own pace.

Everyone is welcome to participate. Thanks to the generous support of Campus and Community Planning, UBC campus families can take part for free! Other families can join our Online Nature Club for $10 per household and can use their membership or regular admission tickets to explore the museum on Nature Club weekends.
