National 4-H Congress 2021
National 4-H Congress would have celebrated its 100th Anniversary in 2020!! Due to COVID, that did not happen, but this year, youth from across the country WILL be celebrating “A Century of Empowering Youth” in Atlanta, GA from November 26-30, 2021. It is a five-day educational experience that engages high school 4-H members in leadership, citizenship, global awareness, and inclusion.
If you are interested in further developing your leadership and life skills while exploring the multi-cultural and dynamic city of Atlanta, National 4-H Congress is just the educational experience for YOU! Registration is open NOW through August 15 in 4HOnline. Do NOT miss out on your opportunity to participate.
The National 4-H Congress Board is committed to ensuring a solid educational program in a safe and healthy environment. They are reviewing the latest research and information on how a large conference can happen in a safe environment by using information from the CDC, the hospitality community (PCMA, MPI, etc.), the International Airline Travel Association, the American Camping Association, and Land Grant Universities. We are all committed to ensuring a safe experience for all.
Youth in grades 9-12 are welcome to register!! Please note, if you registered/applied for National 4-H Congress in 2020 and did not have the opportunity to travel due to COVID, please register NOW.
The cost for the 2021 National 4-H Congress will be approximately $1,200 per person (the total will be determined as soon as transportation and lodging costs are confirmed). Youth are responsible for the cost of the experience and at least one meal/day.

Traditional Record Books Return for 2020-2021 The Awards and Recognition committee voted to return to having traditional record books this year and celebrating youth's awards and achievements in October at the County Achievement night. The committee is going to look into having alternative options for the 2021-2022 4-H year. If you would like to be part of this discussion or have ideas to share, please contact Tracy Keifeheim. As 2020-2021 was not a typical year, please have youth share as much as they can in their books! The committee is looking forward to reading how youth were creative, persistent, and innovative! Please remember the club determines the due date at the club level, and books being submitted for county-level awards are due Sept 10, 2021!
