A Holiday "Moosical"
Presenting a "Holiday Moosical!" Those famous flying holiday helpers have all the fun - especially traveling around the world on Christmas Eve delivering gifts to all the good boys and girls. While Marty the moose desperately wants to join Santa's team of reindeer, everyone knows that moose are simply too big and heavy to fly! On Friday, a fun cast of kindergarten holiday characters and Father Time shared the charming tale of a moose who wanted to fly, and how miracles can happen if only WE BELIEVE!

Our Holiday Pop-Up Shop Continues at the Middle School!Join us for the second day of our popular Holiday Pop-Up Shop! Featuring exciting NEW ITEMS like St M dragon logo socks, glass ornaments, handmade jewelry, cell phone smart wallets, winter hats and headbands, key fobs and more, our Holiday Pop-Up Shop is the perfect way show your DRAGON PRIDE while picking up St M stocking stuffers and holiday gifts! The Pop-Up Shop will be OPEN: - Monday, December 11 from 8-9 a.m. and 2-3 p.m. in the Middle School Conference Room (across from the Front Office)

Middle School Winter Wonderland DanceMiddle Schoolers, join us for the Winter Wonderland Dance on Friday, December 15 from 7-9 p.m. Admission is $8 at the door (cash only please).
As our students were inspired by the all-school read book A Long Walk to Water, a portion of the proceeds will go towards building wells with Water for South Sudan, a non-profit started by Salva Dut.

Middle School Yuletide Book SwapOn Christmas Eve in Iceland, families swap books so that everyone has something new to read while they wait for Christmas morning. The Middle School English department is hosting our own Icelandic-inspired "jolabokaflod" book swap on Tuesday, December 19 during English classes and after the 8th grade exam.
This week, bring used books you are ready to swap to Mrs. Flemming or Mrs. O'Dell. On the 19th, you will get to choose the same number of books you have contributed to take home and cozy up with while you wait for Christmas! Questions? Please contact your English teacher!

New Lunch Option for JanuaryOnline lunch ordering for January takes place December 10-20. We are excited to announce that we are adding Jason's Deli to our list of lunch providers. They will offer a variety of fresh sandwiches, soups and salads on Mondays.

DRAGON ROBOTICS ROAR!
Drum roll...Our Dragon robotics team is GOING TO THE FLL ROBOTICS WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP! Our team placed 2nd overall last weekend out of 103 teams from the VA/DC region at the State Championship at James Madison University and the top 2 teams advance. We are bursting with pride and excitement! Join us in congratulating them! WAY TO GO DRAGONS! Click HERE to read a news article about the win. As the only school in Richmond to advance to the World Championships, the Richmond Times Dispatch will be at the Middle School on Wednesday to interview the team for an article. Stay tuned!)

St M is partnering with Challenge Island to host Camp Frosty, a winter camp for grades K-5 on December 20-22.

Annual AuctionAs we celebrate the School’s 60th anniversary, we also celebrate the time-honored tradition of the auction. Planning is well underway for this year’s event on Saturday, February 10, 2018, in The John Marshall Ballrooms. The solicitation committee is hard at work procuring an array of creative and interesting auction items.
