The Missionary Helper

During August, the month set aside by the denomination to emphasize international missions work, the Historical Commission encourages Free Will Baptists to visit FWBHistory.com. On the site, visitors will find fascinating missionary biographies and historical accounts of Free Will Baptist missions work dating to the mid-1800s.

Most recently, the commission has posted the full run of The Missionary Helper (1878-1919), the "voice" of the Free Baptist Women’s Missionary Society organized in 1873. The periodical includes updates on both foreign and home missionary efforts, the denomination's work with former slaves, and profiles of Free Will Baptist missionaries.

Students Return to Campus

Next week, new and returning students from 23 states and 6 countries will return to campus and begin classes for the fall semester. Pray for these students as they participate in opening services, get reacclimated to life on campus, and continue to pursue God's calling on their lives.
