Last night in NYC we celebrated 2025 Melissa Mathison Award recipient Pepi Ginsberg—who participated in our 25th Annual Screenwriters Lab last year—with a live staged reading of excerpts from her screenplay The Mirex. Our 2026 Screenwriters Lab is coming up April 10-12 in East Hampton; stay tuned for announcements in the coming weeks.

Members of the HIFF staff bid farewell to Park City last week while attending the final Sundance Film Festival in Utah.  Next year, the venerated festival moves toward a new era in Boulder, Colorado.  Our staff saw great films, met with industry colleagues and filmmakers, and celebrated the upcoming year in film.
