Duke Career Center: Internship Funding Available |
The Duke Career Center’s Internship Funding Program provides $5,000 summer stipends to support undergraduates pursuing unpaid or low-paying internships. These grants—made possible by corporate and private donors—help cover living expenses while students gain meaningful experience in their fields. Funds are not compensation for internship work.
Eligible students include first-years, sophomores, juniors, and first-semester seniors from all undergraduate majors. A confirmed internship offer is not required to apply. Learn more here!

Bringing the Calm With New Duke Lo-Fi Videos |

With finals on the horizon, make time to recharge with study-break events happening across campus. On Friday, Dec. 5, stop by the Women’s Center lounge (Bryan Center 109) from 12–4pm for cookie decorating, conversation, and a relaxing space hosted by the Women’s Center student interns. On Sunday, Dec. 7, head to the Bishop’s House on East Campus from 12–2pm for the Stampede of Love. There will be miniature therapy horses, warm cider, snacks, and a perfect photo-op to lift your spirits. Then on Monday, Dec. 8, enjoy an all-day reset at the Mary Lou Williams Center (9am–9pm), or stop by the DISC Study Break in Bryan Center 005 for another chance to rest and recharge.
However you’re studying, make sure you take a moment for yourself. Your brain (and your finals) will thank you.

Student Talk: What Lemurs Can Tell Us About the Origins of Human Reasoning |
Join fellow students in Dollard Commons on Saturday, Dec. 6 from 12–12:30pm for a quick, engaging talk exploring what lemurs can teach us about human reasoning.
