Thank You for Supporting Seeds for Seniors on Giving Tuesday!
Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of our caring community, we exceeded our goal for GAgives Day, raising over $4,000 for Seeds for Seniors! That's a lot of seeds, plants, soil, and gardening supplies! But more importantly, that's a lot of time for our residents to spend doing an activity they love while also providing so many therapeutic and social benefits.
As one of our elders says, "Having a job, whether it is watering flowers or simply providing adoration, is a responsibility that also helps keep a person's mind relaxed, even if they don't know it at the time." We couldn't agree more!
Thank you to everyone who donated, shared, and "rooted" for our success. We are beyond grateful!

The Epitome of Caring
Employee Spotlight: Emmanuel Louis, Environmental Services, A.G. Rhodes Cobb
Though he’s only been at A.G. Rhodes Cobb for a few months, Emmanuel Louis has made a big impact.
“Emmanuel is the epitome of caring,” said Administrator Loretta Barnes. “He works in Environmental Services, however, he will assist when and where needed with a smile.”
Just eight short months ago, 30-year-old Emmanuel left his home in Port-au-Prince, Haiti to seek opportunities in the United States. In October he started working at A.G. Rhodes.
“I enjoy the collaborative environment of my workplace,” he said. “Working with supportive colleagues who make you feel appreciated also makes each day enjoyable.”
