Monday, January 26th is a big day for Indiana REALTORS®; we hope you’ll join us in Indianapolis for the installation of your 2026 IAR Board of Directors and multiple opportunities to make a difference for housing at the Statehouse. Here’s a rundown of the day’s events (all times Eastern):

11:00AM-2:00PM  Delegation Day:

Start with a unique opportunity for in-person advocacy with state lawmakers at our first Delegation Day of the 2026 session of the Indiana General Assembly. (Separate registration is required for the January 26th Delegation Day – click here; keep scrolling for more details on Delegation Days.)

2:30-3:30PM  IAR Board of Directors Installation:

Kick off an exciting year for your state association as the 2026 IAR Board of Directors is officially sworn in at the Statehouse.

4:00-7:00PM  IAR Legislative Briefing and Reception:

Get a special briefing and update on the REALTOR® legislative agenda and mingle with members of the General Assembly to talk issues face-to-face:

This year is a short (non-budget) session of the Indiana General Assembly, but that doesn’t mean important issues aren’t on the agenda – property taxes and property rights, consumer protections and rolling back anti-growth housing regulations are all up for debate.

It’s important for REALTORS® to show up and make your voices heard at the Statehouse: IAR Delegation Days give members the opportunity to learn more about our policy priorities and make the case directly to your state legislators.

There are three Delegation Days scheduled for this session, starting with the January 26th kick-off. Each day is assigned to several local associations: Join your local board’s Delegation Day, pick January 26th to make a day of it along with the IAR Board of Directors Installation and other events, or simply choose the option that works best for your calendar.

Each January, IAR’s Legal Department usually offers a Zoom webinar reviewing legal forms changes, professional standards trends and other important developments. This year, we’ve decided to pre-record the webinar and distribute it as a video update for your convenience, so you can get the scoop on your schedule.
