Dinosaur Species Named for Kopchick

Not only was biology professor Shundong Bi on a team that identified a new species of dinosaur, but he also named the discovery after John Kopchick, the IUP alumnus and donor for whom—along with his wife, Char—the science college and its future home are named. Learn about Yuxisaurus kopchicki, the stegosaurus relative gaining national attention.
