A large rock with a plaque mounted on it that reads, “Vietnam 1962–1973,” followed by smaller type and with the country’s outline on the left and a medal on the right, sits in a park-like setting with a building and a tree with new leaves behind it.
Join in as IUP rededicates its Vietnam Veterans Memorial in a new location in front of Pierce Hall at noon on Veterans Day (Friday), 40 years after the memorial’s original dedication. Five IUP graduates from the ’80s who served in Vietnam organized the ceremony. Learn more about this event.
