Textbook Distribution Session Is Open!

Distribution Sessions: Monday - Friday, 11 AM - 1 PM & 4 - 5 PM | Room 1510
Check out the textbook policy and instructions!

You can place orders or submit verification requests for required textbooks before September 23 and go to the distribution sessions for physical textbook pick-up and textbook verification. Electronic books/coursepacks will be distributed through email. Contact shanghai.textbooks@nyu.edu with questions.

Pick Up Your Academic Passport!

Pick-Up Location: 5th Floor, Academic Resource Center, Front-Desk

The Academic Passport is a semester-long activity where you are encouraged to participate in all kinds of events hosted by Academic Affairs offices. You will obtain stickers for each event you attend. When you have collected a certain number or variety of stickers, according to the Passport Handbook, you will receive a gift! Scan the QR code on the back of the passport to learn more.

Graduate School Advising

We are offering one-on-one meetings and group sessions with information and advice related to graduate school applications. Make a graduate school advising appointment to let us know your academic background and questions.

The Academic Resource Center (ARC) will be offering the following in-person and online services this fall:

For support in Writing, Speaking, Reading & Listening Consultations, Academic Skills Coaching, book an hour-long appointment or join a 20-minute walk-in session (Monday - Friday, 2 - 4 PM, at Library Reference Desk). See more inforamtion about Global Writing & Speaking Fellows.
For course-specific tutoring, schedule an appointment with a Learning Assistant (LA). Note: LAs will start to hold office hours from September 19.

IT: The MFA Phone Call Option Will be Eliminated Soon!

Switch to Duo Push | Get Started with MFA | MFA FAQs

Effective on October 6, NYU will be eliminating the MFA phone call option. Instead, everyone should use Duo Push. For the current MFA phone call users, check out NYU MFA: Switching from a phone call to Duo Push authentication. If you are new to NYU, do NOT select the phone call (“Call Me”) option as your authentication method when setting up MFA.
