Dear Traveler:
The warm weather has continued a little later this fall. As a result, the leaves have hung on for a few extra weeks. My fellow adventurers have been able to squeeze in some truly spectacular hikes, rides and paddles.
But cooler weather is just around the bend. You can feel it in the chill of the evening and hear it in the quiet of the morning. The holidays are coming and perhaps a little winter weather, but you still have a chance to get out and explore before it’s time to stick the turkey in the oven. There’s plenty to be thankful for up here in Transylvania County—forests, waterfalls, white squirrels, the Steep Canyon Rangers—but we’re even more thankful when you come up and enjoy it with us.
Pass the gravy,
The Adventurist
