"Student Film: The Movie" is seeking 80 background actors to help bring a couple of exciting film festival scenes to life on Monday, June 9, and Tuesday, June 10. The film, featuring Hollywood talent on both sides of the camera, is the center of a groundbreaking hands-on training course led by Sam Sokolow for World Cinema students.

Scientist Dale Hitchcock of the Savannah River National Laboratory (SRNL) joins Clemson University as a joint faculty appointee to support innovation in advanced materials for energy. A scientist in the SRNL’s Tritium Technology Division, Hitchcock becomes the lab’s second joint appointee at Clemson, joining SRNL materials expert Jake Amoroso.
