Walsh University Welcomes New Rugby Coaching Staff |
Walsh University has appointed three coaches to lead its new men’s and women’s rugby programs, which compete in the National Collegiate Rugby (NCR) league. The men's team will compete in the Rugby East conference, widely regarded as the top collegiate rugby conference in the country. First Summer Orientation, June 7 |

|
Let's rally together to show our pride and welcome the Class of 2028 and their families at our first summer orientation on June 7! Your support and enthusiasm can make a big difference. The day starts with prayer and orientation activities, including a Cavs Cor Cordium icebreaker to help facilitate new friendships, resource BINGO for parents, opportunities to meet with Financial Aid, IT, and Academic Support Services. Students will explore Residence Life and engage with more members of Cav Nation at the resource fair. The day will wrap up with tie-dyeing Walsh swag. Faculty and staff, please wear your Walsh gear on Friday and join us in making our newest Cavaliers feel at home. Your support and friendliness will help make this day a memorable start for our new students. Swords Up!

Blouin Scholars Cohort Traveling to Ireland |
The Class of 2025 Blouin Scholars are departing for Ireland on Saturday, June 8. For three years they have been exploring human trafficking and exploitation, and now they are off to experience an international perspective. They will be engaging with faculty at Carlow College St. Patrick’s and their community partners for a learning exchange regarding the roles of Catholic higher education in supporting vulnerable populations.

720 Market and Taco Party at Hoover Park |
The North Canton “720 Market and Taco Party” is coming to Hoover Park at Walsh University on July 20! This free community event includes a lineup of taco trucks alongside local artisans - makers, bakers, brewers, and growers. Park for free at Walsh University's west campus lots and follow the signs to the festivities. Live local music kicks off at 10 a.m., adding to the vibrant atmosphere. 720 Market sets up at different venues throughout the year and is all about supporting local, having a blast, and discovering something new!

If you have ever sung in a choir or wanted to, here is your chance to join the Walsh University Chorale and make music! All students are welcome to be a part of our vibrant singing community. Rehearsals are on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:15 to 5:45 p.m., and you can earn 0 or 1 credit hour (CRN - 10481). Don’t forget to discuss this opportunity with your advisor when enrolling in classes. For more information, contact Dr. Britt Cooper at bcooper@walsh.edu.
