Dear Traveler:

The official opening day of Sliding Rock was this past weekend, and I’m here to tell you that I came, I saw and I slid right straight into summer. First impressions? Still a bit chilly, but showing all signs of warming up.

Every season in Transylvania County is its own gift, but none is quite so thick with absolutely anything and everything as the summer months. You’d be hard pressed to pack in even a fraction of all there is to do, but for anyone looking to maximize their fun, get ready to dive on into June. It’s all happening. Don’t miss it.

Stay cool,

The Adventurist
