I study best in a room that feels personal and safe to me. A room that's clean and organized but at the same time has none of my favorite things that might distract me.
-G Medina, McG Mentor
Anywhere but my bedroom. And if I’m at home any place where my family will not be able to interrupt.
-Dayane Padilla, McG Mentor
I personally study best in area that is quiet and free of distractions from others, so really somewhere that is empty/dedicated to studying. An example of this on campus would be the 4th floor of the Richard J. Daley Library at UIC's east side campus.

-Sebastian Cortes, McG Mentor
What do you wish you would have gotten involved with sooner?
I wish I had gotten involved with the idea of studying and seeking help. I'm still trying to find time in my schedule but definitely doing better than before.

-Dayane Padilla, McG Mentor
I wish I would have gotten more involved in some of the on campus activities and opportunities as a way to become more acquainted with UIC's campus earlier on and to meet more people as well.
