Join us for Meetings with Michael: November 30 at 7p.m.
At the start of the school year, we kicked off a community conversation at the VMFA about how cultural identity informs students' experiences at St. Michael's.
Cultural literacy is essential to a 21st-century definition of "superior academic instruction." So our hope with this next Meeting with Michael gathering is: - to offer some insights on the role cultural literacy plays within students' social-emotional development as well as the St. Michael's curriculum;
- to hear about your experiences and those of your children around matters of cultural identity.
Please join us on November 30 at 6:45 p.m. at the Middle School Singleton Campus Library.

Got Milk Jugs?
We need to collect 200-400 gallon empty milk jugs for an exciting STEM project and we would be most appreciative if families could send them in.
Please wash jugs thoroughly so that we don’t end up with stinky classrooms! Students may drop them off in the libraries at either campus. Thanks!

St M will be hosting camps for grades K-8 during the winter holiday break (Dec. 19-23 and Dec. 26-30.)

Thanksgiving Food Drives
The Lower School and Middle School non-perishable food drives conclude on Monday, November 21.
Here is a list of most needed items for these organizations:
- Peanut Butter, Canned Tuna & Chicken, Low Sodium Veggies, Fruits Packed in Juice, Spaghetti Sauce (No Glass), Canned or Dry Beans, Hot & Cold Cereal and Whole Grain Snacks.
Fifth graders will deliver all items to the St. Michael's Church food pantry following the Thanksgiving chapel service. Thank you for your support!
