On Thursday, February 15, at 9:41 p.m., the Department of Campus Safety received a report of a fondling that occurred at approximately 9:30 p.m., on West 3rd Street between LaGuardia Place and Mercer Street.
The complainant, an NYU student, reported that while they were walking east on the south side of West 3rd Street, the suspect walked up to them, grabbed their buttocks, and then immediately fled south through a driveway of Washington Square Village.
No injuries were reported. NYPD responded and a police report was filed.
Description of Suspect: The suspect was described as male-presenting and light complexioned, approximately 5'-11" tall, 180lbs, wearing a dark colored hoodie and a facemask.
