On Sunday, February 2, in an emotional commencement to the 67th GRAMMY Awards, Dawes led an all-star lineup with a cover of Randy Newman's "I Love LA". Taylor and Griffin Goldsmith of Dawes are among many heavily affected by the wildfires, losing a home, a studio and most of the band's gear between them. Listen here

The AMERICANAFEST Pre-Grammy Salute to the Songs of John Hiatt took place at the Troubadour on Saturday, February 1. A notable cast of artists gathered to pay tribute to the legendary performer, such as his daughter Lilly Hiatt, Lyle Lovett, Shemekia Copeland, Cedric Burnside and I'm With Her. Los Lobos joined Hiatt for a special performance of “Down on the Riverbed,” ending the night was Hiatt himself performing a short set with the house band. All proceeds from this event went to benefit MusiCares fire relief efforts. Read more

The 67th Annual GRAMMY Awards in Los Angeles highlighted the city’s ongoing recovery from recent wildfires, with performances and fundraisers supporting wildfire relief. Sierra Ferrell swept all of her nominating categories with 4 awards, including Best Americana Album and Best American Roots Song, while Billy Strings took Best Bluegrass Album for the fourth time. Cedric Burnside won Best Traditional Blues Album and Gillian Welch & David Rawlings received Best Folk Album for Woodland. Congratulations to all of the night's winners and nominees and thank you to the Recording Academy for continuing to recognize the growing impact of roots music. Read more
