IVC Celebrates the Year of the Snake |
IVC celebrated the Year of the Snake on February 11 with a vibrant Lunar New Year event. Nearly 600 students enjoyed traditional artwork, a Tai Chi session, and an energetic performance by the South Coast Chinese Cultural Center. Co-hosted by the Office of Student Equity and ELEVATE AAPI, the event showcased rich cultural traditions and strengthened the campus community. See Lunar New Year Photos »

More Than 60 Student Organizations Featured at Club Day |
IVC’s Spring 2025 Club Day, held on February 5, welcomed over 420 students and featured more than 60 student organizations. Co-hosted by the Office of Student Life and the Inter-Club Council, the event encouraged students to connect with peers, explore new interests, and get involved in campus life. See Club Day Photos »

Seven IVC Students Receive Soroptimist Live Your Dream Award |
Seven students from IVC’s EOPS/CARE/CalWORKs programs are recipients of the Soroptimist Live Your Dream Award. This non-profit organization supports single mothers who are the primary financial providers for their families. The students collectively received nearly $10,000 in scholarships, providing essential financial assistance as they pursue their academic goals. The students were honored during the CARE Program’s annual kick-off event in January.

Men's Volleyball Sweeps El Camino |
The Irvine Valley men's volleyball team improved its record to 5-1 overall with its second sweep in a row and fourth on the year with a win on the road Friday night at El Camino. Irvine Valley, ranked fifth in the state, plays again today at home vs. Santa Monica at 1 pm in a match that has been moved up in the day because of a mens basketball team Orange Empire Conference tournament game at 6 pm against Orange Coast.
