NFL and NATA Announce Funding for ‘Team Up for Sports Safety’
Last week, the NFL Foundation and NATA announced contributions to support Team Up for Sports Safety (TUFSS). This initiative, led by the Korey Stringer Institute, advocates for the adoption of policies proven to reduce sports injuries. As part of this effort, KSI recently hosted meetings in Maryland and Delaware with local high school sports leaders and state legislators. These meetings will continue throughout the year with plans to eventually reach all 50 states and the District of Columbia.

The NATA Research & Education Foundation is accepting Free Communications abstract submissions through Nov. 1. Abstracts selected by the Free Communications Committee are published in the supplement of the
Journal of Athletic Training and are presented at the 71st NATA Clinical Symposia & AT Expo via oral or poster presentation. Submission guidelines and instructions are on the NATA Foundation website.
