Since late 2017, Patrick Warren, associate professor in the John E. Walker Department of Economics, and Darren Linvill, associate professor in the Department of Communication, have been compiling and analyzing the tactics and strategies of social media accounts created by a Russian agency. Hunter Carson ’18 learned the ins and outs of agriculture at an early age. When he entered the MBAe program, his entrepreneurial energies were focused on finding efficiencies that would benefit his family’s row-crop farming operation. His idea and the resulting start-up recently captured first place in the MBAe program’s 7th Annual EnterPrize competition.

Summer Scholars shine in learning leadership through the ages
The Summer Scholars class “Leadership and the Case for Greatness" required high school students to adopt a “Great Books” approach to learning about leadership and political greatness. “We didn’t know what to expect with students this age, given this was a seminar class that required a lot of reading and active participation from the students,” said Michael Hoffpauir, associate director of the Lyceum Scholars Program in Clemson’s Institute for the Study of Capitalism. “But students hit the ground running on the first day."
