Join us tonight, October 2, from 6-8pm for a free screening of Intelligent Lives, presented in partnership with Highland Park Public Library. This powerful documentary will be followed by a short panel discussion facilitated by Julie Guidry, Executive Director of Upstream Arts.

The film features three young adults with intellectual disabilities- Micah, Naieer, and Naomie- who challenge perceptions of intelligence as they navigate high school, college, and the workforce. 
Intelligent Lives is a catalyst to transform the label of intellectual disability from a life sentence of isolation into a life of possibility for the most systematically segregated people in America.
