A Spring Yard Sale: Where treasures are found and friends abound!
St. Luke’s UMW has chosen a successful way to fundraise while connecting with friends and the community! Fueled by spring cleaning, this year’s donations were plentiful as were the many seniors who volunteered to help with the set-up and to welcome shoppers. It was a happy turnout for the first sale of the season and a perfect way to help support many local needs. The sale proceeds benefit children, and those experiencing homelessness.
“We are grateful for all donations, even the smiling teddy bears and warm winter blankets,” said group leader, Karen Brown. “They will fill a need and help raise funds for many more outreach programs. A big thank you to all those who donated and all who volunteered.”
Send us your St. Luke’s photos, and you could be featured on the cover of the Senior Newsletter! Email your photos to evasquez@st.lukes.org
