Hi Neighbor!
In September of 2016 I dropped off an apprehensive young girl for her freshman year of college. She relied on us for pretty much everything. I sent her care packages every six weeks or so. She loved getting the packages and I loved sending them. Fast forward to this winter, after my knee surgery, she was back at school and knew I was recovering so SHE sent ME a care package. I cried. It was the first care package I had ever received. It had all of my favorite candy, face wash, and some cute little items I would love and the most beautiful note telling me how much I mean to her and how much she appreciated me. Then a month ago I went to visit her. While we were finishing breakfast one day I asked the server for the check. She said “It’s been taken care of.” I looked at my daughter and she smiled.
Next week I’m going to pick up a young woman from her sophomore year of college who’s come into herself and has begun to look, sound and act more like an adult everyday. What a difference two years makes!
Enjoy!

Cognitive Development Project Playdates
Various dates throughout the summer
Villanova University's campus, Tolentine Hall
We invite you to attend a playdate at the Villanova CDP! Free coffee, lots of toys, and even a Villanova student to play with the kiddos! The Cognitive Development Project is a research group under the direction of Dr. Rebecca Brand. We adore babies and love to learn about how they discover their world.
As part of our community outreach, we are hosting playdates in our playroom on campus.
CDP playdates are a perfect way to connect with other parents while offering a fun new experience to your children.
We keep groups small, usually 2-4 parents and their kids. Our playroom is best suited for kids from birth- 3 years, but we can keep older siblings entertained, too! If the weather is right this summer, we can even head outside for some fun in the sun! No research is required to take part in the playdates.
