It's time for crunching leaves, chilly weather and pumpkins! When enjoying Autumn, make sure to remember these important safety tips!

Autumn is the start of cold and flu season! Make sure to wash your hands often, cover your mouth if you cough or sneeze and avoid touching your face. October is the ideal time to get vaccinated, so make sure you research your options.
Daylight Savings Time ends on the first Sunday in November. When outside at night remember to wear reflective clothing, look both ways and hold children's hands.
Halloween is coming up! Check your children's candy, wear an easily visible costume, dress for the weather and remind the little ones street safety to ensure a fun holiday.

Introducing our new Executive Director, Himali Pandya. She will be starting on October 6th, 2025 and we are extremely excited for her to begin.

The Child Care Council of Dutchess and Putnam, Inc.'s free referral service offers assistance in many areas pertaining to different aspects of child care, including but not limited to child care referrals, summer recreation information, nursery schools, pre-k programs and cost and Child Care Assistance information.
