We are also thrilled to announce that we will be honoring our partnership with the Greensboro Police Department through the FaithAction ID Initiave, and numerous physicians, nurses, and volunteers who have provided life-saving services this year through our Immigrant Health Center! Your support will help us serve 4,000 of our newest neighbors this year with basic needs assistance (food, housing, healthcare, employment), professional legal services, English and computer classes, and our FaithAction ID initiative. It will also allow us to educate and connect thousands more by providing over 50 immigration and diversity trainings to local faith communities, schools, social service agencies, as well as our monthly “Stranger to Neighbor” events that build greater trust, understanding and cooperation amongst our diverse community. A catered reception begins at 6:30pm, and the show begins at 7:30pm at the Community Theater of Greensboro. Tickets are $60, and can be purchased online or by calling the CTG Box Office at 336-333-7469. A Place for Us is proud to be a part of the 17 Days Arts Festival from ArtsGreensboro!
Peace, and hope to see you there.
