Bringing a little Magic home |
|
|
We recently teamed up with Orlando Magic and AdventHealth to help Liz and her two daughters celebrate their brand-new affordable home. It was the 13th Habitat home the Magic has sponsored, and Liz said it was a day she and her daughters will never forget!
We are so grateful to Orlando Magic for their incredible support in helping us uplift and empower our community! From their commitment to teamwork on the court, to their dedication to building a stronger, more united Orlando off the court, the Magic truly embody the spirit of giving back.

The countdown is on! Home for the Holidays in its homestretch |
|
|
Williams Company is off to the races to finish two homes by next Friday as part of our annual Home for the Holidays event. This year, the company, along with its subcontractors and vendors, are donating all of the materials and labor to complete two homes, one in Osceola County and one in Orange County, in a sped-up timeframe. We celebrated the kickoff of the Orange County build on Monday with future homeowner Stephanie and her family.
RSVP to this Facebook event to watch the home dedications live on Friday, Dec. 13!

Meet future Home for the Holidays homeowner Stephanie |
Stephanie knows her son and granddaughter are watching her everyday as she goes off to work and diligently manages her budget saving up to purchase their future home.Â
Stephanie, who works for a local school district and at a large retail store, said it’s important to her to set an example for them, to let them know if she can reach milestones like homeownership, someday they can too.Â
“I work very hard, and if they’re seeing what I’m achieving, they’re going to know that if they do it, it can happen for them too,” she said.Â

Escrow and insurance review for
the New Year |
2025 is almost here! Now is the time to review financial responsibilities, like escrows and insurance coverage. Understanding these topics can help homeowners and policyholders start the new year with financial security. Â
Here are a few things you should expect when reviewing your escrow account for 2025:Â
Annual escrow analysis: Your lender will conduct an annual escrow analysis. Based on their findings, the lender may adjust your monthly escrow payment. Â

The news of Harris Rosen's passing last week left us with heavy hearts. Mr. Rosen was a true philanthropist and steadfast supporter of Habitat for Humanity Greater Orlando & Osceola County. For over a decade, Mr. Rosen and Rosen Hotels & Resorts championed our mission, helping countless families achieve the dream of homeownership.
We admired Mr. Rosen as a beacon of hope, help, and love—a leader whose generosity and compassion inspired us all. While he is no longer with us, his remarkable legacy will continue to live on in the lives of the families whose futures he helped to build.

A 'tree-mendous' time to vote for your favorite tree |
Members of our team had a tree-mendous time getting festive and decorating a tree as part of Rosen Shingle Creek's "A Tree-Mendous Affair." The annual event allows Central Florida nonprofits to decorate Christmas trees to display the mission of their organization. The trees are then displayed at the hotel throughout the holiday season.
You can cast your vote online for your favorite tree between now and Dec. 17. The organization that receives the most votes will receive a $5,000 cash donation from The Harris Rosen Foundation.
