THANK YOU FOR THE OVERWHELMING OUTREACH OF SUPPORT!
Dear Students and Parents, We have been devastated by the emotional and physical toll this storm has had on us, our building, and our local business and residential community.
We are still in the process of clearing out our beloved school of it's instruments, equipment, memorabilia, and accounting for our losses and the extend of our damages. Thank you to everyone who has offered to help in our recovery effort. It is with heavy hearts to ask for help but I know we will need it.
We do have a plan to move forward temporarily as we work to recover and rebuild. We have two shows on our calendar that we are working toward!
Sun, Sept 26th: Summer Student Season Show at LYC Jr. Clubhouse
Sat, Oct 2nd: Houseband performs at Larchmont Food Truck Festival at Memorial Field
Please note the following:
- Some instructors cannot teach drums from home so we will be notifying you this week with alternative instructors and/or apply make-up credits for future use. Please text 917-605-0740 if you would prefer in-person lessons, we cancel and reschedule for a later date and put your accounts on hold.
Rehearsal Space: We are in the process of pulling together a rehearsal room effective Friday September 10th from the Jr. Clubhouse at Larchmont Yacht Club. The Commodore and membership have been amazing in helping us move forward.
- All Summer Rock 101, Sounds of Summer Performance band, Houseband, and the Fall Performance Program students - please check here for rehearsal/location details and requirements. We intend for all of the new rehearsals starting next week to contonue as scheduled from this new location.
- We also plan to host free trial lessons from this space - we will be reaching out individually to each trial lesson scheduled over the past 2 weeks and going forward.
- Adult Rehearsals are being planned for an alternate location in Mamaroneck - stay tuned!
Thank you again for all of the messages of support. We certainly feel the love and hope the Mamaroneck area we have called home for 8 years makes a complete and swift recovery. To help support the community, visit LMC Media's website for coverage and resources for helping those severly affected.
With great appreciation, Vanessa and Tory Ridder
