Virtual Ergonomic Assessment Program |

Our workplace environment where many of us spend many hours per week is strongly correlated to our muscle and joint health. SimpleTherapy's virtual ergonomic assessment program available to GW medical plan participants at no cost allows members to consult with a certified ergonomic specialist on the current state of their working environment for both home and office. Professional ergonomists can provide pros and cons on each work place set up along with recommendations for improvement.

GW's Skin Smart Campus Initiative |
|
|
|
As part of GW's Skin Smart Campus initiative, GW developed a dedicated web page to raise awareness about skin cancer prevention and UV safety. This page includes important information on protection from harmful UV exposure, the risks associated with indoor tanning and tips for safe sun practices. Two sunscreen dispensers will be installed at key outdoor locations on the Foggy Bottom campus providing faculty and staff with convenient access to sunscreen.

Designed specifically for GW faculty and staff, the REACH program gives members an opportunity to engage in workshops that will provide information about student well-being trends, availability of services, and how to make appropriate referrals to those services. Faculty and staff can enjoy free seated massages at Foggy Bottom and Virginia Science and Technology campuses on a first come, first served basis. We would like to accommodate as many colleagues as possible, so if you have already received a seated massage in the last few months, we ask that slots for the dates below be reserved for colleagues who have not yet received one.
