The U.S. Air Force Academy Association & Foundation has recently learned of the death of Mr. Thomas S. Stites, CS-23, Class of 1972. Mr. Stites passed away on April 12, 2026, in Plano, Texas.

A Funeral Service was held on April 20, 2026, at the Restland Wildwood Chapel, Dallas, Texas.
His family has suggested memorial donations be made in lieu of flowers to the North Texas Association of Air Force Academy Graduates.
Condolences may be left online with his obituary.
