Good morning! Campus will be particularly busy this week with thousands of students visiting for Ready Set Roar!, Summer Start and other summer camps. New research could lead to improved treatment gastrointestinal illnesses; Clemson's Rocket Engineering team took third in an international competition.

Clemson will welcome 850 new first-year students for the Summer II Term starting June 25. Additionally, about 3,000 middle and high school students will stay on campus this week as part of the NewSpring Gauntlet summer camp. Move-in and Gauntlet will affect traffic flow and parking on campus.
Students in the College of Engineering, Computing and Applied Sciences visit this week as part of Ready, Set, Roar!, a two-day in-person Orientation experience. The full schedule is available online.

Anna Seekatz, an assistant professor in the Department of Biological Sciences, and Sophie Millard, a Ph.D. candidate, are working to understand the effectiveness of certain treatment options that could have relevant impacts on gastrointestinal health.

The June 30 performance evaluation deadline is quickly approaching for staff members in certain budget centers. The Office of Human Resources is hosting several training sessions in the next several weeks to help staff and supervisors navigate OnBase-Performance.
