Happy Birthday, St. Michael's!
64 years ago on September 10, 1957, St. Michael's opened its doors to 63 first, second, and third grade students with subsequent grades added each year.
While St M has grown to meet the changing needs of our students, what has stayed constant is our strong values, the love of learning that is instilled, and the sense of belonging that our students, families, and faculty feel here. The spirit of St M will live in our generations of Dragons for years to come! Happy Birthday, St. Michael's!

Happy Trails!
This past March, a "Raise the Paddle" at the end of our annual auction raised funds for our outdoor education program and new bridges to make our campus trails more accessible to all abilities. We are excited to share that thanks to the generosity of our St M families, five new bridges have been installed and are joyfully being used by our Dragons for educational discovery and recreation. (see above video)
New trailhead map signage is in production and also posted on our website. Thank you, thank you for your enthusiastic support. See you on the trails!

Back to School Nights for K-8
An important email went out to families on Friday with our updated plans for our 2021 Back to School nights.

Carline, Placards, and Masks- NAMEPLATES: A friendly reminder to place the nameplate for your student(s) on the front passenger VISOR facing out. (We can't see names clearly if it is on your dashboard.) This visual cue helps faculty call for the student(s) and thus keeps the carline moving swiftly. We are happy to provide you with any needed extra placards.
- TWO INBOUND LANES: During carpool drop-off and pick-up, the carline becomes TWO INBOUND LANES once over the lake bridge. BLUE LOOP families should stay in the far right lane. YELLOW LOOP and GREEN LOOP families should stay in the middle lane.
- As we get to know new faces, please ensure that your child knows their last name so that carpool runs as efficiently as possible.
- MASKS: For the safety of all, a reminder that students should have their MASKS ON before they exit the car. Masks are ALSO required outdoors during carpool hours.
- CONES: Pull as far forward as you can for both morning and afternoon carline.
- FOR STUDENT SAFETY: The carline is a strict NO CELL PHONE and NO PASSING ZONE (unless otherwise instructed by a St M faculty/staff member.)
- LATE ARRIVALS: Any late arrivals to school (after 8 a.m.) MUST drive and park in the GREEN loop (between Hubbard Hall and Singleton Hall), and call the front office at 272-3514 for instructions. Late students may not be dropped off on the sidewalk to enter the school without supervision.

Morning Gym (7:20-7:40 a.m.) for Early ArrivalsPlease note our new Morning Gym procedure: Cars arriving BEFORE 7:40 a.m. must drop students off at Morning Gym. Please pull into the green zone in front of the gym and students should unload themselves and check in with staff upon entering.
If you do not want to take advantage of this early drop-off service for families, please ensure you are arriving to carline after 7:40 a.m. Carpool begins at 7:45 a.m.
For safety reasons and new this year: cars should not park/idle in the circle near our front gates.
