"I’m so very thankful to Team Gleason for their generous seat elevator grant for my Permobil power wheelchair. The ease which I am able to adapt my wheelchair is astounding. The range of motion afforded to me by the seat elevator allows me to get into the wheelchair easier and allows me to have normal meals with my family and have quality time with them. It also allows me to rise to the occasion when pictures and conversation happen with my family and friends as I am now at eye level and excited to communicate with everyone.
Because of my ALS diagnosis, I was recently forced to retire as a civil servant with the United States Navy. I was recently honored by the local ROTC unit and VFW for my 50 years of service as both active-duty Navy and civil service. My wheelchair made it possible to stand tall and proud. I hope Team Gleason is able to continue honoring many more veterans with their kind and generous support." - Thomas B., Corpus Christi, TX
In Partnership with the Permobil Foundation, Team Gleason will continue to help more individuals living with ALS stay more independent.

Dave's Trident Hawaii Adventure |
“I didn’t expect the trip to be as amazing as it was, from the luxury accommodations at a resort in Honolulu to the amazing scuba diving experience itself. I would’ve been happy to just put on a mask and air tanks and go underwater and see some pretty things. But before I could even do that, the Trident Adventures team called to see if I wanted to jump out of a helicopter into the water first. Of course, I said, yes!” - Dave W.
