2021 Together Way

The Together Way unites Free Will Baptists to have the opportunity to do what no individual, no one local church, or any one extended ministry can do alone to carry out our worldwide stewardship responsibility.

A poster and letter will be mailed to each church in the coming weeks outlining the special offering dates for 2021. These offerings go to support our national ministries.

Better Together Podcast to Release "Tech Tips"

As churches continue to put more of their services and other ministry resources online, the Executive Office wants to help.

We will be launching "Tech Tips," a series of short videos on the Better Together Podcast with topics ranging from copyright needs for churches to troubleshooting sound in your live stream.

The first video, "Live Stream Basics," will premiere next Thursday, January 28 at 10:00 a.m. CST on the Better Together Podcast Facebook page. For a copy of the notes from that presentation, you can email questions@nafwb.org.

Videos in the "Tech Tips" series will be posted every Thursday at 8:00 a.m. on the Better Together Podcast.

Hodges Announces Retirement from WNAC

During its monthly WNAC Board Zoom meeting, Tuesday, January 19, the WNAC Board accepted a notice of retirement from Executive Director Elizabeth Hodges, effective December 31, 2021.

Elizabeth submitted the official letter stating, “For several years, I have talked about God’s timing. In recent weeks, He has made very clear the time is now. It has been my honor and privilege to serve Free Will Baptist women for these ten and a half years.”

Theological Symposium Set

The Commission for Theological Integrity has begun planning for its 2021 Theological Symposium on the campus of Welch College in Gallatin, Tennessee. The dates are tentatively set for October 4-5. Dr. Jackson Watts, Program Chair, invites those interested in submitting a paper proposal to send it to fwbtheology@gmail.com no later than June 15.

Other questions may also be submitted to this same email address. This year's program is an open theme, so papers on all matters biblical and theological are welcome.

New Giving System for IM

IM, Inc. is implementing a new method of giving for all ONLINE donors. If you currently give online to any international missionaries, please follow the steps below before January 31:

Cancel your old recurring donation at iminc.org.
Set up a NEW recurring donation using the link provided in your most recent email from IM, Inc. regarding this change.

**ACH Bank Draft donors do not need to make any changes**

February Bible Study

WNAC's Treasure Bible Study is available for the month of February. The study encourages the believer to “lift our eyes to get a shift in perspective."

Financial Resources from Board of Retirement

The Board of Retirement has provided several resources for personal finance and church administration on their new website, http://reinvestfwb.com. Resources include a minister's tax guide and a church tax and financial guide.

Spring Semester to Begin

Students, faculty, and staff return to campus next week to resume in-person classes. Pray for the continued health and safety of everyone at the college.
