As the world continues to buy electronics and get rid of them, recycling their parts could potentially create 1.5 million jobs. An IUP safety sciences PhD student and her research are uncovering an unseen health hazard lurking inside electronics recycling facilities.

IUP Wins “COVID Pivot” Award

At its Tech 50 Awards, the Pittsburgh Technology Council presented IUP with this top honor for its efficient response to the coronavirus pandemic, including the move of more than 1,500 courses to remote delivery in 10 days last March.
Rutgers University has awarded Composition and Applied Linguistics PhD student RAsheda Young a research stipend for her scholarly contributions to an anti-racist pedagogy workshop.
In this #EberlyAmazingStudents feature, freshman management major Alexis Boyle, a member of the marching and symphony bands, talks about a future focused on helping others.
Mimi Benjamin, Student Affairs in Higher Education, copresented “Deepening Faculty/Student Interaction in Residential Colleges” at the 2020 Virtual Residential College Symposium.
