While we are optimistic about the year ahead, we were also deeply saddened by the loss of a cherished board member, Eddie Price. Eddie was not only a dedicated contributor to the Lilburn CID but also a remarkable community leader whose legacy will continue to inspire our work. Please read more about Eddie below.

As we move forward, we are eager to witness the completion of the Bryson Park/Hood Road roundabout, scheduled for completion in the fall. This project represents our ongoing commitment to improving traffic flow, safety and connectivity within our district.
CIDs also work to improve communities and make them attractive to new businesses and residents. We are thrilled to welcome several new businesses to the area, which not only strengthens our local economy but also create more opportunities for neighbors to connect and grow together.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the residents of Lilburn and our valued community partners for their continued support. Together, we are building a safer, more vibrant and better-connected community.

Lilburn CID wrapped up 2024 on a positive note! During the December board meeting, the CID Board and Lilburn Mayor Crist discussed exciting plans for 2025, focusing on collaborative projects to improve mobility and accessibility.
At the December board meeting, board members also took updated headshots for a fresh look on the CID website. Be on the lookout, the website site will soon be revamped for a more user-friendly experience and to better showcase CID projects and progress.
The next Lilburn CID board meeting will take place on Wednesday, March 12, at 11:30 a.m., in the conference room on the second floor of Lilburn City Hall. While we encourage board members and guests to join in person, a Zoom link is available for those unable to attend.

Growing a Greener Lilburn |
At the December board meeting, the Lilburn CID made a key decision to increase its landscaping budget, further demonstrating our commitment to maintaining a clean, attractive and welcoming district. Curb appeal remains a top priority, as it boosts property values and attracts new businesses.
We extend our gratitude to Russell Landscape for their continued partnership and dedication to keeping our district beautiful! Landscaping is a crucial part of the CID’s mission to enhance the Highway 29 corridor and surrounding areas, improving aesthetics, shaping public perception and fostering business growth.
