Update on delayed FAFSA process |
PSU has received over 17,500 FAFSAs from the federal government. You will receive an email from Financial Aid confirming we have received your FAFSA. Some of the FAFSAs we have received are missing information. The Financial Aid Office will email students who are missing information with instructions on how to provide it.
Currently, the Financial Aid Office is evaluating the rest of FAFSAs to ensure that they are accurate. This is, unfortunately, a very slow process, which means that students will likely begin receiving Financial Aid Offers in mid-to-late April.
If you have not yet completed your FAFSAs, it is vital that you do so as soon as possible. Some funds are limited to first come, first served basis. The Financial Aid Office is here to help you. Book an appointment for a FAFSA filing session or stop by one of our Saturday drop-in sessions.
