We are honored to announce Interim President Welsh will join us as the Common Grounds speaker on Tuesday, Oct. 17. His presentation will include university updates beginning at 1:30 p.m. at the General Services Complex in Room 101 B/C. The USC monthly meeting will be held following the interim president's presentation. Staff are encouraged to attend in-person or via Zoom.

Continuous Service Improvement Governance Group |
The Continuous Service Improvement Governance Group (CSIGG) was established as a result of process improvement initiatives in the Division of Finance and Business Services over the past year. During spring and summer of this year, the initial membership was seated, processes defined and tools created. CSIGG is now operational and is already evaluating the first six process improvement proposals. Use the CSIGG Intake Form to submit a request or proposal to improve a finance and business services process.

Transportation Services Mobility Master Plan and Strategic Plan |
Transportation Services is proud to showcase two plans recently developed, the Strategic Plan and the Mobility Master Plan. Both are designed to help support the division in evolving with our rapidly growing campus and surrounding communities. The Strategic Plan defines a path through 2027, and the Mobility Master Plan maps out a future for campus development, prioritizing walking, bicycling and public transportation as essential modes, and promotes safety, congestion mitigation and greenhouse gas emissions reductions.

| Employee Flu Vaccine Clinic Oct. 6 |
Texas A&M Health has partnered with H-E-B to provide influenza (flu) vaccines at no cost to Texas A&M System employees, their eligible dependents and retirees covered under the A&M Care Plan with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas. The final employee flu vaccine clinic will be held Friday, Oct. 6, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Rudder Tower Exhibit Hall. Appointments are encouraged but not required.
