Join the Conversation
Each month in this corner, we share resources related to our ongoing campaign to generate artistic reflection and public conversation about stigma associated with disability. This month, in honor of The Year of the Teaching Artist and The Art of We: Are Family, we're revisiting "A Teaching Artist's Path," the beautiful post written by UA Teaching Artist Aaron Fiskradatz back in March. If you missed it then, be sure to check it out now to learn about the family connection that drew one artist to work at the unique intersection of art, disability, and learning. As always, we welcome your thoughts in response in the comments on the post itself, and/or on Facebook and Twitter.

| Gratitude & The Work Ahead
The gap to our fundraising goal for the year is now $44,849. That's how much we need to raise before June 30 to reach $100,000 from individual gifts, toward bringing inclusive, FUN arts learning programs to even more people with disabilities next year. There will be opportunities to donate at The Art of We: Are Family on May 18. If you're unable to join or would like to give in advance, feel free to make a tax-deductible gift online or mail a check to Upstream Arts, 3501 Chicago Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55407. We can't wait to celebrate the year with you, whether in person or in spirit, on May 18. THANK YOU for being part of our community!
