FAQ/TUTORIAL
Q: What happened to the Paramount+ Essentials with SHOWTIME bundle that was only $7.99 a month?
FAQ - Download Images to View A. In December 2023, Paramount sent an email to subscribers of its cheap package called Paramount+ Essentials with SHOWTIME that cost just $7.99 a month. (In August 2023, Paramount stopped offering the package, but existing customers initially got to keep their grandfathered plans.) In the email, subscribers were told they'd be automatically upgraded to the $11.99 a month Paramount+ with SHOWTIME plan.

Nothing will change for subscribers of the $5.99 Paramount+ Essentials plan or the $11.99 Paramount+ with SHOWTIME plan.

This news comes as Paramount recently announced that its SHOWTIME TV Network will be rebranded as Paramount+ with SHOWTIME, effective January 8th, 2024.
