Lt. Col. (Ret.) Gregory N. Shuey '68

The U.S. Air Force Academy Association & Foundation has recently learned of the death of Lt. Col. (Ret.) Gregory N. Shuey, CS-08, Class of 1968. Col. Shuey passed away on Aug. 25, 2026, in Overland Park, Kansas.

Visitation will be held from 5 until 7 p.m. on Sept. 2, 2026, at McGilley & Hoge Johnson County Memorial Chapel, 8024 Santa Fe Dr., Overland Park, Kansas.

A Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Sept. 3, 2026, at Resurrection Brookside, 5144 Oak St., Kansas City, Missouri. Interment will immediately follow at Mount Moriah Cemetery, 10507 Holmes Rd., Kansas City, Missouri.

His family has suggested memorial donations be made in lieu of flowers to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
